probably very fair and not too distant from where we finish the 2017 campaign
-
Texas being anywhere on the list automatically puts its legitimacy at about a 0.
-
I'd say OU at 8 makes it sketch as well.

Looks like the SEC coaches ganged up on Clemson. It's interesting to see a team get 7 first place votes (second most) and end up at 5th overall.

I think it is literally just the closest counties to each school in the top 25. Mostly pointless but still interesting somehow.

???? I just now saw the heading....but thanks for helping me.
And yes, very cool. We own Nebraska.
-
It's a Cats and Utes world. All of the rest are just lucky enough to pay rent.
-
Too bad Currie left.....that graphic would have looked really good on the back of the scoreboard.

I like what this map confirms to me about South Florida.

What does that have to do with this map?

Are you from that area? I know a clan of folks out that way.

wichita can't even pick the right school to be closer to :frown:

That map screws Sedgwick County as most of the county and a big chunk of Wichita is actually closer to Manhattan. According to Google maps Central and 235 is the midpoint to Stillwater. I don't think anyone with knowledge of Wichita would mind giving south Wichita to Oklahoma. Julius Rib Cage would need to move though, switch places with Pig In Pig Out.

I can not in good conscious sign off on a Julius / Pig in Pig out trade. I will however sign off on a Jet BBQ & Bite Me BBQ trade for Julius. Hell, I'll even throw in Delano BBQ to sweeten the deal.

my parents in Meade have a child who graduated from OSU and three who graduated from KSU. HOUSE DIVIDED.

That map is dumb.

That map is dumb.
Yea, I mostly agree. The flip side would be that if you can "hold" a large chunk of that map over a substantial amount of time, you could theoretically pick up casual fans from out of state and grow your fan base. Which is really common sense.

South wichita is practically okie territory as is. Anything south of Harry goes downhill pretty quick.

What time frame does that take into account? I fee like Northwestern shouldn't be on the powerhouse side of the axis

Please shift Baylor to the left as far as possible.

This has to be from a voter who also voted for Maryland. If you think Maryland is a top 20 team it isn't wild to put UT in at 24 or 25.

If the Cats and OU stay undefeated and Penn State or Michigan lose one we should get Gameday week eight.

Agreed. Unfortunately, I bet both end up undefeated going into that game. You'd think an undefeated Cats Sooners matchup would beat FSU v. Louisville and Bama v. Tennessee. Hopefully we wouldn't get screwed with Bedlam being two weeks after.

Hoping Iowa can get Penn State, otherwise they'll both probably stay undefeated.

Bama vs. Tennessee will be on CBS. I can't remember the last time that game was visited by gameday.

I think when we played OSU in 2011 Gameday was at Bama/LSU even though the ESPN crew called the KSU/OSU game.

They should just drop it, it takes into account way to many things that dont happen on the field (mostly recruiting). Like, lolrs at thinking this teams is going to be 8-4. For fucks sake Tejas is #23.

Glad to see an un-feated Florida State team still in the top 25 and also Mississippi State staying in the top 25 despite getting pulverized
