Yeah the 12 Fiesta or 03 Fiesta would def be #1 had we won IMO. Maybe even the Cotton against Arkansas too.
2012 yes, not the 2003
Anyway
1. Fiesta 97
2. Cotton 2000
3. Copper 93
4. Texas 16
4. Holiday 95
4. Holiday 2002
4. BWW 13
4. Holiday 99
The top three are indisputable and can be ranked however, the others are essentially the same to me, the 2002 Holiday Bowl was our best opponent of those five, Suggs was a complete monster and the best player we faced in any bowl game win or lose.
Brees?
I 100% guarantee that if you take #familyfullback's carries out 2016 QB run percentage numbers would be almost identical to 2012
That's kind of my point. I am glad they found someone else to bash into the LOS in short yardage (2-5 yards) situations rather than the QB. At that point they obviously thought Klein was a better option than Wilson or any of our backs. I'm glad we have bigger backs and that they feel Dimel can take some of that load. I get the nepotism conspiracies, but I'm sure part of the rationale is not beating up the QB when you don't have to.
looks to me like saban called yahtzee on kiffin's ass
? for op; what does lawl stand for?
Fleck gonna go to Minny now.
They kept promoting this as a season unlike any other, but it's the exact same script. They even got a dude from the past who could carry out the directions, probably since they didn't have confidence in any new dudes.
The only thing I took note of was pig aggie doing pig aggie chants.
Great reference, but it is giving known trash Talib waaay too much credit as far as his persona goes. I mean, Talib would the hell out of that.
Ertz has the highest season YPC (5.5) with 100+ carries of any rusher at KSU since Snyder arrived in 1989 with the exception of the following years:
2007: James Johnson (6.4)
2006: Leon Patton (5.6)
2003: Darren Sproles (6.5)
2002: Darren Sproles (6.2)
Jesse had a better per carry average than Klein, Roberson, Bishop, Beasley, Daniel Thomas, etc.
I've said it several times here and elsewhere; Jesse quietly amassed one of the most impressive seasons in KSU history when you look at how rare some of his accomplishments were. I still can't get over 1755/1012. That's Ell 2002 good.
I don't really like the YPC stat when comparing QBs. Klein was basically our short yardage back in 2011 and 2012 and he was very good at it. That is going to make his YPC look a lot worse, even though it helps the team. I do think Ertz is a much better runner in open field than Klein.
His ypc is worse because he's the slowest of our rushing QBs, maybe faster than el beaz. Sisco is used in short yardage situations too, he's just a much bigger threat of breaking a 20+ run.
I think that's true, but this staff has gone away from using the QB as a battering ram quite so much in the redzone. (%run is based on attempts)
2011 %RUN %TD
QB 54.6% 82.4%
RB 42.7% 14.7%
WR 2.7% 2.9%
2012 %RUN %TD
QB 46.8% 61.9%
RB 51.3% 38.1%
WR 1.9% 0.0%
2016 %RUN %TD
QB 40.5% 38.5%
RB 58.6% 60.5%
WR 0.9% 2.6%
Part of that is having better (and bigger) backs, though we did have Hubert in 12.

This team is all over the placeand will likely continue to be for at least a few weeks. This roster and the playing rotation has been very fluid in Mittie's three seasons.WBB n00b here. Is there a reason that #11 started yesterday? I seems that there are several other forwards on the team who are better.
After watching his cotton bowl pregame speech just now I'm now firmly on team Fleck
Yeah Virgil is just trying too hard and using old times names
