Family trip or what? Bubbles and I recently stayed at the Hotel Indigo just off of Houston and kicked around the East Village. Highly recommend. Just bar and restaurant hopping... Tons of cool places in the area.

I did not expect the town (suburbs) to legitimately smell like a feedlot but it does!

that's weird, it mostly doesn't.  unless you're near fresno state, where they have a bunch of cows.

since it's raining, i'd suggest enjoying what is probably the last rain for six months.

My review of suburban Fresno: it is exactly like every suburban area that used to be farmland in the us. And it just rained so it was lovely!

probably, unless you're only there for a day or something.  it's crazy beautiful, but the crowds significantly detract.

When you say Banff, how long do you hold on the 'f' sound? Over or under 2 secs?

He lives in Pasadena now.   He took on a more consulting type role than originally anticipated so he’s doing travel in about a three hour radius of the metro.  Hikes a lot and sends me humble brag pictures that make me jealous. I think he got to work out at some gym on the beach. Basically the stuff you can do in dallas too.

Nobody guessed my airport pic, obviously it’s easy, but I’ll have additional food and restaurant updates when I get back home.
