I whipped up a quick za using bisquick for the dough and it was very very horrible. the crust was dense and dry and crumbly like a gas station country biscuit.

I think I could have mushed up like a tortilla masa that would have been better in the same amount of time

I meant make tortilla dough from raw materials. just fat and flour?

obviously if I had a whole tortilla lying around I would have pizza'd it

I cheat, use Sams Club frozen pizza dough balls. But they work great.

I always cut it on the granite counter instead of the pan, keeps the pan nicer.

In honor of it being #NationalPizzaDay I couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate than Pie Five. Haven’t been there in a minute and WOW was it good. Got a 11” pan High Five w/ ‘penos. Was so excited to celebrate I demolished it before any pictures.

Pizza is one of those foods for me where I tell my family “I’m on a diet,” when they get it for dinner I basically have to just say eff the diet. My will powers just disintegrates.
