next season
« on: March 12, 2015, 08:42:51 AM »
are we going to suck again? I feel like probably. hopefully not but probably. our recruiting is so ass'y and our coaches are even ass'y'er if that's possible.

This season was probably the worst coaching job in NCAA basketball history. Next year's team could probably have a winning record and a few quality wins and maybe make the tournament, despite being even worse than this year's team.

We’ll have to get a definition of what “suck” is first.  We finished with a losing season, I would imagine we’ll be “better” next year – oscar has basically already stated that he’s going to find the suckiest schedule possible and play it.

I know my place. I'm a KState fan not a Duke fan. I want to make the NCAA and that will completely placate me as a loser KSU fan. I know that's sad and losery but it's true.

Nino and Gip were our two most consistent guys this season. We'll have to find a couple of guys who show up every night. Not sure who is willing to step up to that role.

Ideally we'd have a worse record than we did this year.
When one person, for whatever reason, has a chance to lead an exceptional life, he has no right to keep it to himself.

Yes, we are prolly going to suck.  Did any of oscar's guys improve dramatically from last year to this year (serious question)?  Doesn't seem like it.  Do we expect that to change this offseason?  Answer: Not likely.
Wondering who is running this hot dog stand and seriously considering heading out for tacos.

Yep.  Advesity overcome.

It will be interesting if they just make it to the NIT next year what Currie does.

With oscar, I'm afraid we're in for more of the same... Somewhere around .500

I could see us anywhere from another 15-17 to the leap to 17-15.

With that said, I'm firmly of the belief that Snyder could take over this group and get them to somewhere around 22-10 to 24-8 pre-tourney just by better knowing how to work with young people.

rank the big 12 for next season guys. I know nothing about who other teams have coming back (because I barely follow stupid basketball anymore).

bubble team that will have a better non-con record due to oscar not scheduling anything with a pulse. will probably miss out on tourney but will still post season because of great non con record. catch the excitement! get in the swing of it! it's a hit!

Losing gip and nino will hurt super bad.  I mean, how benchy is Marcus going to be?  Will Wes play as aggessive as he has the last few games, or like he did the middle of the season?  WTF is going to happen with our point?

I feel like unless we have one or two recruits ready to immediately produce at PG we will be worse.

Also, will DJamer be the old DJamer, where he is only good for some back up mins?  Will he be healed?  Will he have developed even though he is has been in a boot?

Too many questions to legitimately say we will be better, imo.  I feel like the odds are we will be about the same or worse.  What we may gain in development(lol, right.  development hasn't been oscar's strong suit) we lose in consistency with gip and nino.

Next year is going to be an ugly, bumpy, frustrating ride, imo.

Maybe with the super easy non-con, the team will look much better at transition / fast-pace offense and oscar will let it carry into B12 play (until they get destroyed in away games)

17-15 should still equal oscar unemployment, imo.
