Nice find.  Is the plan to find one true point guard every 5 seasons?

Don't take exception to my terminology, purely in the name of brevity, you know exactly what I'm talking about

I was under the impression that Clay was another combo guard, am I wrong about this?  Not that I have a problem with Custer if he is a combo.  At-t was the one PG I was alluding to.

i think he's pretty limited to just pg at this point.  he's supposed to be about 5'11" or so, and just by how muscley he is, he doesn't look like he's likely to get a lot taller.  i think pg is his mentality as well.

sheesh, all these clowns are stealing stuff from me.

The terminology and the discussion of seems to be one of semantics. When people use the term "true point guard" they are looking for a player who can get to the rim on the bounce and who can and does create opportunities for his teammates.  Specifically when I used it, I was referring to a player similar to what we think we are going to get from at-t, and similar to what Jake developed into.  Saying true point guard is easier than saying "slashing guard with vision and an ability to score a bit as a bonus"

More from the Rumble:

"Trevis Buchanon (Team Melo 2015) – When (John) Crosby wasn’t killing the defense on the perimeter Buchanon was doing the dirty work inside. A long 6’7” big man, Buchanon attacked the offensive glass and scored on a variety of short shots in the lane. He also defended the rim and started transition by rebounding at a high level and whipping outlet passes to Crosby."

Bossi:

""Everybody talks about me as a two guard," said (King) McClure. "I consider myself more of a combo guard because I can pass well."

According to McClure, he's already got offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, Kansas, Kansas State, Indiana, TCU and SMU so there's no shortage of early suitors. For now, though, McClure isn't thinking much about college and is just appreciating the attention he's gotten."

Bossi also reported that 1 of our AC's was scouting workouts at Kimball HS and Prime Prep in Dallas on Monday, it wasn't specified which recruit we were scouting. If you have Rivals sub, you can read the update linked below.
