You guys won't believe this but there is a 6'4 shooting guard with great athleticism in the portal named Marcus Foster
we’re good at the 2, nothx

I'm curious who you think is our 2 guard

53
My zeal has been subdued from this season tbh. Maybe I'm just getting old.

54
Like if we roll out Ames and two new transfer guards with Buddy and Colbert we are going to get rough ridin' torched every night. There just aren't any combination of bigs currently on the roster where if we play them both at the same time we aren't playing 3 on 5 offensively.

Sherman just looks like a smarmy $!#*

56
Yea and we have more serviceable guards than bigs on the current roster. Hence my confusion with not spending some money on a big.

57
a team with a 3 guard, 2 big line up like 2021 Baylor did not have a guy like Kaluma

So who on our current roster fills the 2 big roles?

58
A team doesn't require a forward? Cant tell if you are serious.

Looks like Gary has his sights set on ETH now. RIP.

61
PG and SG for sure (unless you can find me a Big that can also shoot from 3 like Tomlin).

Who is taking on the Kaluma role if we spend our money on two guards?

He can't crack the guard rotation on an NIT team that got run by 4 white guys in Iowa.

I think he is a little stronger than his average.  I'm going just under 1k and 9 TDs.

I don't trust the KC WR coach to develop young talent so I think Pat goes to the vet a lot

I don't know much about the WR coach but Rashee Rice showed a lot of development this year I thought.

I assume he means the European portal

I'm not sure how big of an NIL warchest that we came up with but I think tang is going to go especially hard in the paint this year.  I would expect 6 spots to fill and 6 players remaining plus Castillo.

It'll be interesting to see who returns.  We'll probably have a big turnover and that's probably not a terrible thing.

We will lose a ton.  This is going to be nuts.  Would love to keep buddy.  The rest are just parts

KU has some work to do, too. Billy Self (his actual, legal name on his birth cert) needs to come up big in the portal. We can't have another season like this, though it gets even harder with Zona coming in.

Most seasons going forward for KU are going to look like this now. NIL and the transfer portal have made it nearly impossible to hoard talent anymore.

It hurts that you think I would lead you astray about NIT TV coverage of the cats

Tough news on McCullar not playing. Seems like that should probably be the death blow.

What's the appeal of water polo over swimming if they are already good at that? Or is it not the same season and they do it to stay in shape?

72
Which ones you picking? I'd take the PG and the Big.

73
We can't afford that sorry. Pick 2/3.

74
Doug kind of pulled a Frank Martin and withered on the vine purely for money

Hopefully it ends mercifully tomorrow night and we can enjoy portal season.
