Illinois hasn't gone to back to back tournaments since '06/'07. They haven't been to the tournament since '12-13. They haven't had a winning conference record since 2009-10.oscar may be under performing here, but he's certainly head and shoulders above what Illinois has done since they canned him.

I had mentioned earlier that nobody has an answer for a replacement coach.
Brad needs to have a funeral for oscar
It's not sys. Not this year at least. Every D1 coaching connection that K-State has this year failed at their program and aren't dancing. Oh, you wanna gamble with a mid major hire? Groce worked out real well for Illinois.
in the end, EMAW will always win.
Brad's a great coach, we know that. whether or not it works out at UI remains to be seen. but like, we know he's a great coach

HEY EVERYONE, COME LOOK AT THIS DATA POINT AND LET'S JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS
wackycat, for the last two years, kstatefans were almost united in pining for underwood. i can't think of any fanbase ever that was more unified on the subject of who they would have liked hired if their coach was fired.
