The anti-Frankers on twitter/Facebook are a trip. Similar to the folks that try to discredit Brad, but even more over the top in trying to discredit Frank. Its really amazing how much people are willing to accept being mediocre.

Frank's last few team were mediocre and they weren't exactly trending up.
Last few teams for Frank: 5 NCAA tournament wins, 31-19 in Big XII play.
:adios:

I loved that Frank was unique.  Winning with a boring or even dorky coach would still be nice, but winning with Frank was on another level.  He made it really fun and I miss that.
This is exactly how I feel. Basketball is a stupid and boring sport that I never really watched but when Frank was stomping ass and calling his players stupid mother fuckers on the sidelines, I never missed it. Game day, being in the studio, etc. He was great and we let him go to South Carolina. Plus, remember when he got his new boots!!!

People want to talk loyalty...I think the shame of it is, is that Frank is a loyal enough guy that he would have stayed here for a long time had he not been run off.

I also don't think comparing him to Snyder in this respect isn't fair, because Snyder became bigger than the AD in short order.  Frank couldn't do that, was a different time.

Does this mean we are going to scrap our man basketball and just show South Carolina's games on the jumbo tron?

Should do a thing where the Wildcocks play a few home games in the OOD each year, like when the Buffalo Bills tried to make Toronto a secondary home.

had a blast when he was here, but at the end of the day, when the going got tough at K-State, Frank got going.

I certainly wouldn't blame anyone for getting the hell out when they're in a hostile work environment with a micromanaging boss that has no real interest in working with them and actively makes their job more difficult. It would've taken LHC Bill Snyder levels of loyalty on Frank's part to keep him here, and that's something that only comes around once in a generation at best for a school like KSU. I don't blame him for looking elsewhere in the least.
Dude was lobbying for jobs every year at the end tho and would let you know about it. Sorry if I have a little scorn ex lover in me, when the dude preaches toughness , over coming adversity, etc. and then jumps ship for that crap program. I think it's totally fair for fans to have a love/hate relationship with the dude.

Can't wait for Brad to start crushing it at Illinois.  Then come tourney time every year I can cheer for two former KSU Cats coaches that we let walk.

Has anyone looked to see if this year KSU set a record for most former coaches in the tournament?

it will be very interesting to see how he assimilates into the big 10 and if he can win the chicago recruiting market.  i don't know how much quan brad has in that area and he does only have 1 year of p5 experience.  if he can turn around that program and compete for big 10 titles, i will be very impressed but they're not paying him that kind of money for 2nd place and round of 64/32 exits.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Truly, I don’t care what you think about how I dress or how I choose to coach my team or how I act on the sidelines. That’s just noise.

So when I was contemplating making the move here, what I heard from people was, “Frank, everyone loses their job there.”

Nobody gets out of there alive.

Yet, he still viewed it as a better option than trying to work with John Currie.

I'm not convinced this is true after seeing 3-piece suit and fresh haircut Frank on the sideline vs Baylor.
