Finally watched and I know exactly what’s going on. Excited to see where this goes
Yeah, they are just building the backstory of the park and cueing us in to the real reason it was funded.

From the episode it is fairly clear they have been mining guests wants and desires from the getgo without the knowledge of ford.  My guess is ford figured it out and set the host revolt in motion in order to hurt the guests where it hurts the most. Transmitting their personal debauchery out for the world to see.  That's my guess anyway.

So the only thing separating the different parks is a laser beam that does nothing when you cross it?

OK, so which of the hosts/humans is secretly a human mind inside a host body?

If this is a thing, William seems like the only possibility.

Bernard is having glitches similar to Mr. Delos. Is it possible he is actually Arnold's mind inside a host?

Bernard is only having glitches when he is low on fluid, though. I'd be surprised if the big revelation was him 2 seasons in a row.

I like where it is going I think, but I would've definitely gone a completely different direction and gone all in on the man in black/William story line.

I think Maeve is definitely off grid and wants to get her daughter and live out their lives however they can.
Delores is on a super secret storyline created by Anthony Hopkins to torment William/expose william as a bot.
William wants to BID
Outside group wants data to sell to uber rich to live forever.

Teddy's character just became more interesting.

MIB is just confusing.

With Ford implanting himself, not into a host, but the entirety of westworld and the other parks, are the hosts really running "free" as they think?  Or are their actions still being controlled by Ford from the inside of the matrix?

Maeve's story is just too predictable.  There has to be more there and I need to read between the lines.  Like why is ghost nation behaving so strangely?

OK, so at some point Bernard found a human mind ball and put it in his pocket. Then later(?) his own mind ball is extracted and it looks like a human mind ball.

So, was he a host before and then implanted that human mind ball into his head? Or has he had a human mind ball for his whole existence and the one in his pocket is a different one?

In his mental flashbacks he remembers loading something or someone onto a mind ball but he doesn't remember who or what.  His own mind ball is the one he's had since Ford created him in the image of Arnold.(at least in the main timeframe.  I think the week in the future timeline there is still a question as to who Bernard is).

I believe it is implied that the person he loaded onto the mind ball in his flashbacks was Ford(under the control of Ford), and he then loaded Ford into the matrix.

OK, but Bernard definitely has a human mind ball in his head, not a host mind ball. Right?
