It's an honest fear, 'bias. What are the rules on these rosters? Just no NBA players?

I'm not sure you can find a better team of non NBA guys than that team. I mean most of them are probably close to fringe NBA players. And they have chemistry already, i think they will be one of the contenders without knowing anything about the other teams.

Oh, I agree. I'm very excited for it.

@Chuck, I'd imagine a lot of fringe NBA players from colleges that play over seas will do this. I would imagine that would make up most of the teams. It should be a lot of fun to watch.

Go to the website and they have lots of stories about past teams.

Oh I know but we are talking about a core that was a top 5-7ish team nationally when it was together. I'm obviously biased but I just think this is about as good of a roster as possible with non NBA players.

Myck Kabongo, D.J. Kennedy and CJ McCollum seem to be the best players on the championship team from last year.

We could really use Beasley as the ringer once we get to the sweet 16. Can NBA player play? I mean McCullum is a NBA player.

I think the opening round is in Chicago and if they advance, it's in Philly. TBT tweeted something out like that.

Quote
The top 12 vote getters in each region will receive "automatic" bids, while TBT will select 4 at-large teams per region to complete the field of 64

Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Charlotte to host regional rounds
Upon registering, teams can apply to any region they choose

They're picking Chicago.  A team could pick a less desirable region to have greater odds of making the top 12, but P&B won't need help.

I'd say they'd have a real chance
if Underwood coached them or if Frank coached them they could live stream to Undie and he could tell Frank what to do.

I watched a few on ESPN last year. One of the things I remember is that they put the players salary (if they win it all) on their profiles. And most teams wouldn't just split it between everyone. Like, one guy would be getting 15k, and the next would be getting 90k, etc. For some reason I thought that was funny

The official rules kind of contradict the generalities above but again, P&B won't have any issue getting what they want.
