It's an honest fear, 'bias. What are the rules on these rosters? Just no NBA players?

I'm not sure you can find a better team of non NBA guys than that team. I mean most of them are probably close to fringe NBA players. And they have chemistry already, i think they will be one of the contenders without knowing anything about the other teams.

@Chuck, I'd imagine a lot of fringe NBA players from colleges that play over seas will do this. I would imagine that would make up most of the teams. It should be a lot of fun to watch.

Oh I know but we are talking about a core that was a top 5-7ish team nationally when it was together. I'm obviously biased but I just think this is about as good of a roster as possible with non NBA players.

Myck Kabongo, D.J. Kennedy and CJ McCollum seem to be the best players on the championship team from last year.

They're picking Chicago.  A team could pick a less desirable region to have greater odds of making the top 12, but P&B won't need help.

Round 1 & Round 2 stream live here on Saturday July 9 & Sunday July 10 in the South & West regions; and Saturday July 16 & Sunday July 17 in the Northeast & Midwest regions.
Round 3 (Super 16) airs live from Philadelphia University on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU on Thursday July 21 (4 games) & Friday July 22 (4 games).
Round 4 (Round of 8) airs live from Philadelphia University on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU on Saturday July 23.
The Semifinals air live from Fordham University on ESPN on Saturday July 30.
The $2 million, winner-take-all Championship will air live from Fordham University on ESPN on Tuesday August 2.

I watched a few on ESPN last year. One of the things I remember is that they put the players salary (if they win it all) on their profiles. And most teams wouldn't just split it between everyone. Like, one guy would be getting 15k, and the next would be getting 90k, etc. For some reason I thought that was funny

The official rules kind of contradict the generalities above but again, P&B won't have any issue getting what they want.

When registering his or her Team, a GM must select the region in which his/her Team would like to participate when creating the Team on the Website. The Producer will try to organize the Tournament so that a Team invited to participate in the Tournament will be able to play in the desired region, but Producer cannot guarantee placement in the desired region.
