I don't see why he doesn't just at least pick up the rough ridin' phone and at least give him a call.

This is all fantastic for Brad. If he wants the job, maybe all the strife will make it happen against all the odds. If he doesn't, for reasons, pretty great to be able to watch the admin that ran him and his boys off get crushed.
