If you had a lineup of that third team, while talented as hell, they'd get run. College basketball is the only team sports entity that names an all_____team and doesn't make it position specific. All-NBA is position specific. When I played high school basketball those were position specific as well, maybe that's changed.
Who on the first two teams would you replace for him?Also I didn't realize Alex Robinson didn't even get honorable mention, he definitely should have been on the third team in lieu of the 16 bigs on that team.
It’s also important that the player is contributing to some sort of team success. This where the more subjective part comes into play, and I have thrown in a dash of team strength based on my ratings. OK, more than a dash. We don’t want Vlad Moldoveanu winning this thing! There’s enough team influence such that it’s hard to win the award if your team is not in the top ten and nearly impossible if it’s not in the top 20.
