At least he got to play and put in some minutes and score some points tonight. It all boils down to whether Miami wants him back. If not, I think he showed enough this season to get a shot with another NBA franchise.

Mike can be a big time scorer in the NBA just needs to go somewhere that needs that.

Tbh, I think his best option is to stay with the Heat and develop under Lebron. It seems that Lebron has taken B-Easy under his wing, which is probably the best thing for him (i.e., guided by someone he clearly respects).

(big woop, I know) I think that's been the biggest problem with beaz in the NBA has been his hustle and consistency. I wish he would show some of his old confidence too. I wish there was a magic wand for that, probably not though.

EDIT: I think the Heat will eventually re-sign Beasley in the off-season because they don't need another superstar in Melo they need to develop their bench/role players more and I think B-Easy could be a huge impact off the bench for that team and in return it could help bring more confidence to our guy...leading to a bigger payday for the best player in the history of our program.

With Ray and Battier (and Haslem maybe?) retiring, it doesn't seem out of the question for Beas to be the scorer off the bench for Miami. They will be lacking PF depth anyway so that should get him more minutes (feel free to correct me actual Heat fans). It just seems smart to stay there because Miami will at least make the conference finals if not the NBA finals again. Of course this increase of PT talk goes out the window if MIA manages to land Melo somehow.

Edit: added potential as no one is really sure what is happening yet.

Pretty baller move on Mikes part.  Its like a story I heard about mike tyson in his prime.  Supposedly was driving a stick Ferrari(or something) on a date, got tired of driving a stick, parked it on the side of the road in front of a dealership, went in and bought a Porsche or something, then continued the date without the pesky shifting.  No clue if true, but really want it to be.

i wonder if tyson preferred the tiptronic he drove then to the pdk that porsche offers today?  i hear the pdk is excellent and can't wait to try it. and lol at that stupid steptronic but i guess it's just the development path to pdk so GG's to porsche i guess.

Beas needs to realize the opportunity he has and not quibble over the $. He gets a bunch of $ if he signs. If he does what they want him to do, more $ will come.

His issue isn't with money its with playing time. He's only going to get a vet minimum - 1yr/$1MM from whatever team he signs with. What he's looking for is the best opportunity for sustained playing time so he can get a guaranteed contract afterwards.

Mike could beat Selby in Manhattan, in Lawrence, in Africa, and most likely now in China, unless there is some weird law over there preventing it.

I live in Miami, and saw him at the mall during his first stint in Miami when he had cornrows and still to this day I have never seen anyone as high as Michael Beasley was that day. His eyes were completely red. He needs to be more disciplined and take his job more seriously.

He can smoke weed, get high, and score a ton against his opponents. Then bang a bunch of hot asian tight chicks over there. Life is good there man.

 No Name 19 hours ago
He's a colored, nothing is more important to him than weed and the occasional vag piece. He knows he can always depend on the rest of us taxpayers to pay his welfare check like the rest of them.

Amazing talent but as he will be told in China "he racks disciprine." It'll be a good break for him though, go to China away from the knuckleheads he likely hangs around, try some new drugs, plow a bunch of hot Chinese girls...could be a good gig. Hell, Stephon Marbury has a statue of him in China, not kidding - look it up.

In three games with the Sharks, Beasley is averaging a ridiculous 29 points, 12.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals. While he's not shooting well at 39.2 percent, he is shooting often, firing a field goal attempt every 82 seconds. That counts for something.

I wouldn't doubt the allegations for a second.  The young man is a maladjusted, entitled, chemically-addicted and emotionally-disturbed individual with very little intelligence or empathy.  That's basically a rape cocktail.

Given my situation I’m not going to call it a smoker’s jacket,” Beasley said. “I’m going to call it a DirecTV jacket. Yeah I definitely have a DirecTV jacket.

“Like you said, It’s that man feeling, man. We all pay our own bills, we all take care of our own household, so it’s just a little added touch to feel like a boss.”

The depression is something I grapple with on a daily basis as a K-State basketball fan.  I think its part of the reason why I melted down so hard when JP went off the tracks mid season.  Its really tough to finally have a program become something you always knew it could be, and have it turn back towards that dark road again.  I remember hating our coaches for so many years because it was like we weren't trying to be a successful program.  Then bam, Huggy and everything changed overnight.  And now with oscar....I think the biggest issue I have now are the fans that like oscar or needed this year to happen before they turned.  You just want to shake them and say do you you want to go back to the last 20 years of K-State basketball?  Is that the kind of program you want here? I'm sick of K-Staters who are happy with mediocrity.  Sick of the fans who bitch about people calling out oscar on the K-State sports facebook posts.

I threw out fist pump from my couch when he hit his third three.  It's fun to see him run faster when he's making shots.

Are they gonna make the playoffs?

Probably not...and since the heat will likely receive a decent draft pick and a healthy team Bill and maybe both will search for new jobs next year.  They are one game out of the 7/8 seed right now.

Is there a way to watch a replay of that game?  I would love to watch Mike and Henry play the whole game together.
