Regarding Ventura yesterday, I really didn't think he'd be able to get it back after the first inning. He's obviously a very emotional player and I'm happy he was able to keep it together for 7 innings after his start.

Ned pulled Guts an inning earlier than I would have. But that's ok, because we used 1 bullpen inning last night thanks to Yordano.

It was a very savvy move to save an inning from the bullpen by not even having Texas bat in the 9th.
