hey mocat,

how much ball did you play growing up?

like say, on a scale of 1-10, with 7 being played baseball growing up, what would you rate yourself?

Beltre got the hit. That was a shitty pitch to hit. That's not on Greg.

No, what on Greg is not getting the lead off guy.  2 singles doesn't score a run (without a SB).  But a leadoff single and a sac bunt on the other hand.

its ridiculous to get on a guy's case who gives up 2 freaking singles.

I wasn't getting on his case.  Just pointing out that if you let the leadoff guy get on, you need to bear down and get the last 2 outs after the sac bunt. He didn't get in done tonight in the 9th (and that hardly ever ever happens)  Like FAN said, I too am spoiled.   All you have to do is look at the stats I put out about Wade and Greg to show how much I love them and think they are STUDS.

I only watched Holland face three batters in the tenth, sometimes you have to give yourself a breather in this baseball marathon season.

If someone else pitched the 10th, that someone would get a save. But not if he also pitched the 9th

im recruiting you for my softball team, bud.

im in dire need of someone who has played baseball as a youngster and developed intrinsic values re: an ability to hit it past the pitcher  :frown:

I have not swung a bat in a real game since I was probably 11. Talk about fresh legs tho!
