Rowdy Neighbors

Everyone in my neighborhood has dogs (most everyone) and they bark alot when you're out walking around.  Its usually not a problem when you're just passing by but the other week i was replacing a fence post and my neighbor across the alley's dog sat there and barked at me for like 3 different 15 minute periods (he'd take breaks)

Whats the etiquette on throwing rocks in this scenario?

If this thread was made 10 years ago EMO would be complaining about some stud high schoolers throwing FLOUR BOMBS at his minivan or some DAM TEENAGERS dressing up in gorilla costumes and scaring people on the nature trail behind rising star.

Knew there was a trail behind McAuliffe and Mill Creek, didn't know there was one behind Rising Star.

Neighbors kid totally messed up our street with mud last week.  He got his truck stuck in a wheat field.  His dad pulled him out the next day but they didn't even bother washing the mud off before driving down our street and tracking mud everywhere.  Dorks

Just irritated that's all.  I thought they had more sense than to drag that mess home with them.  They spent the next day hosing down their driveway and curb.  The retired guy down the street cleaned up most of the street and rain took care of the rest.

Yeah I've never understood the need to tear you vehicles up driving where you shouldn't.

As the rain came pouring down, washing away the dusty memories on that forgotten street, the old man stared solemnly out the window at his labors in vain.  Were those tears on his face, or merely the ghosts of rain drops on window panes?  Only one soul could say, for sure.

You have to have some standards or next thing you know the neighbors have a junk car sitting on the curb.  Which could easily happen since they already have one in the back yard.

Well the mud incident originated from a party the neighbor kid had.  He tore out of town around 12:00 that night to drive in some farmers wheat field and got stuck.  I hope that farmer gave him an earful the next morning when they went to retrieve his truck.

the lady across the street from me has a rediculously immaculate yard and landscape. She actually sweeps the curb, gutter, and street in front of her house at least twice a week with a normal broom.

this is an issue for me also. All of my neighbors are retired and are now professional lawn keepers. It's miserable trying to keep up with work and kids and Royals.

Can I tell a story about some rowdy neighbors that were sitting next to us at Margaritas the other day?

Well, two weekends ago we stopped by the margaritas off 75th st. after we got back from the lake. We wanted to treat Ms wacky's mother to a marg or two, but they were going to come later. As we waited in the bar area, this group of 7, sat in the corner and kept laughing as their baby was screaming bloody murder. They did nothing abut this, in fact, they encouraged it and thought it was funny. Many in the restaurant started to get restless, as few started to glare at the ppl to do something. However, nothing was done.

Soon, the next thing you knew, 3/4 of the bar had cleared. Ms. wacky and I tried to remain calm, but watching them laugh at their baby crying for 30 minutes and doing nothing about it finally got to us. So Ms. wacky kindly leaned over to them and said: "Hi guys. I really don't wanna be this person, but your baby has been going off for about 30 minutes and I'm just asking if you could take him outside or try and figure out the problem. I know how infants can be."

Well, it didn't matter how nice Ms. wacky was about it. These ppl flipped crap. "eff you little overland park princess!" "How dare you talk like that about my baby! (throws chips) etc". I finally stand up and say: "Cool your crap. She was trying to be nice about it. Now you guys wanna speak up?!". After this, one of the guys came racing over behind me at my table and leaned in and said: "YOU mumped WITH THE WRONG NI$$3R TODAY! (as a I lol'd out loud)" It was at this time, a police officer had arrived and escorted the young gentlemen. trying to remain calm, as Ms. wacky kept asking me to do, I looked the other way as their table kept making () signs at me and telling me to eff my own white ass. Anyways, the family waited outside for me for about 20 minutes, but the cops got them to go. It  was a real blast you guys! Also, we had to tell ms. wacky's family to go back to their house because crap had somehow gone down.
