My coworker gave me a bottle of Jefferson Very Small Batch. I've thoroughly enjoyed the first half of the bottle.

Weekend in Chicago I was able to pick up some Whiskey Acres.  We toured this distillery in Dekalb a couple years ago on a road trip to a Western game.  The corn whiskey came with A flavor stick.  Never used one of these.   Anyone tried using one?

I haven’t drank Whiskey in for-ev-er but it sounded good today.  I’m not a high roller like Tom but Makers on the rocks is hitting the spot watching this snowy royals game.

Single barrel from a distillery here in WV. Would put it up against most mid-high ends any day. Holy cow.

“Distillery”

Fine work cDubs, that’s the fanciest bottle of backwoods moonshine I’ve ever seen. If you find a way to transfer it across borders I would buy some. Pay in Bitcoin too.

In an attempt to lose some weight I’m gonna get deep into the bourbon this winter instead of my usual barrel aged beers. Would love any recommendations, preferably the $30-60 range

Go to your favorite liquor store with the largest bourbon selection. Start on one end of the bourbon aisle. Buy the first three or four bottles in your range. Repeat as necessary to keep the cupboard filled. Don't sleep on the bottom shelf. There's some quality down there too. Kentucky Gentleman didn't make this list but it's one of my favorites.

Bulleit, Elijah Craig, Breckenridge, Knob Creek, Weller, Willet, Basil Hayden's, Buffalo Trace, Old Forester, Baker's, Booker's, Maker's Mark - all are in that price range and all are good

Stepped out on the town last night with a lady friend. This entire flight was great. Very much enjoyed the EH Taylor Single Barrel and put down several full pours of it.

I've never been blown away by anything I've had but I wouldn't say it's complete dog crap.

I recently had this and it is outstanding and like nothing I've ever had. Also sampled some Widow Jane and it is fantastic as well.
