at the very least, Willie defies mascot traditions. Which is very badass, not lameass.

I love it when two mascots come together for a play fight and one tries to make it funny for little kids while the other loser is seriously concerned about looking tough enough and winning the play fight.

Willie tackled the mountaineer. The mountaineer's head hit the ground and started seizing immediately, but it took maybe 30 seconds for everyone to figure out what was going on. It was very scary. The training staffs and Bill went out to attend to him. After 3 or 4 minutes the kid got up and was able to walk off the field to the ambulance.

It was really strange. I noticed the guy twitching while Willie did the "K-S-U-Wildcats" chant and thought "this guy is going all out on his fake injury". Then he just kept twitching and finally the trainers ran out. They even moved the toss down the field to around the 30 yard line while they worked on the kid.

Pretty scary to see. He hit his head hard and started to seizure almost immediately. Probably safe to say the willie tackle skit will be eliminated from pregame.

Well, we did have one die on his Harley once. Not on Harley Day mind you.

Memories of this does make Harley Day a bit more surreal.
