Friday morning, March 2 2012, K-State lost its greatest fan, Shwan "Fatty" Alkhatib. He was in New York City taking care of his brother, Weesam Alkhatib who was undergoing cancer treatment. Weesam passed away on April 14th. His family has asked in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Shwan "Fatty" Alkhatib Memorial Fund.
