boutique/gourmet hot dog restaurants
« on: January 22, 2011, 08:01:00 AM »
Thoughts? I went to Dog Nuvo (http://www.eatatdognuvo.com/) in KC yesterday. I thought it was pretty good but maybe a bit pricy. I had a reuben dog that was $6.50 or $7.00 (can't remember) as well as the truffle & asiago potato chips.  The dog was awesome and maybe worth it, the chips were also really good but definitely not worth 3 bucks. Also, there is very little room in that place.

How difficult is it to make your own gourmet hot dog?  :ck:

There's one in Wichita that's pretty delicious.  Not sure the name though, mostly because they have to keep changing it to keep from getting sued.

There is a place in Wichita over by 37th and Rock called Linkhaus.

BTW, real hot dogs are bought from a cart.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
